How to add questions manually to a question bank

Summary: In this we will see how to add questions manually in a  question bank.

Step 1: Accessing the Question Bank Feature

·        Navigate to the left-side menu and select the third option, Question Bank.

·        Click on the Create Question Bank tab.

Step 2: Assigning a Unique Name

·        A pop-up window will appear prompting you to assign a unique name to your new question bank. Enter the desired name and confirm.

Step 3: Adding Questions to the Question Bank

·        Locate the created question bank in the list.

·        Click on the Action button next to it and select Add Questions.

Step 4: Choosing Question Types

·        You will be directed to an editing screen.

·        Click on the + icon to select the type of question you want to add (e.g., Multiple Choice, Single Answer).

Step 5: Configuring Multiple-Choice Questions

·        When selecting the Multiple-Choice Single Answer option, you will be taken to a dedicated question-creation window.

·        Use the provided text box to input the question text. Various editing tools are available to customize the content.

·        Add multiple options below the text box. Ensure one correct option is selected.

Step 6: Completing Configurations

·        Fill in the required fields on the right side of the screen:

o   Passage/Group: Assign a passage if the question is part of a set.

o   Topic: Specify the topic associated with the question.

o   Severity: Indicate the difficulty level (e.g., easy, medium, hard).

o   Marks: Assign marks for a correct answer.

o   Negative Marks: Define penalties for incorrect answers.

o   Bloom’s Taxonomy Level: Classify the cognitive level of the question.

Step 7: Preview and Save

·        Preview the question to see how it will appear on the candidate’s screen.

·        Save the question to finalize its addition to the question bank.
