Understanding different user roles

There are different types of roles that can be assigned by the user to their team are as follows:


Customer Admin: 
Role: Manages access to the admin portal. 
Responsibilities: Grants and revokes access to different users based on their roles and responsibilities within the system. 

Note: Customer admin does not have access to master list.


Evaluator: 
Role: Evaluates the uploaded answer files for the RPT & IBT Exam. 
Responsibilities: Carefully assesses the answers provided by candidates, assigns appropriate marks, and provides feedback as needed.  

Exam Admin: 
Role: Has comprehensive access to all system features, except users and master list. 
Responsibilities: Manages and oversees the entire RPT & IBT Exam system, including configuring settings, monitoring user activities, and generating reports. 


HEA Admin: 
Role: Has access to all system features except proctoring configuration. 
Responsibilities: Oversees the RPT & IBT Exam system from a higher education authority perspective, managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Moderator: 
Role: Reviews and validates the marks given by Evaluators. 
Responsibilities: Verifies the marking accuracy and consistency to ensure fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.

Proctor: 
Role: Monitors candidates during the RPT Exam to maintain exam integrity. 
Responsibilities: Observes candidates during the exam, prevents any malpractices or violations, and reports any suspicious activities.

Proctor Dashboard: 
Role: Provides a summarized view of RPT Exams through various metrics and counts. 
Responsibilities: Offers a real-time overview of the exam progress, candidate statistics, and potential issues for better management.

Question Author: 
Role: Creates question papers for RPT & IBT Exam. 
Responsibilities: Designs relevant and appropriate exam questions following the exam guidelines and syllabus.

Question Reviewer: 
Role: Reviews and validates question papers before they are used in the RPT & IBT Exam. 
Responsibilities: Ensures the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of questions, and confirms alignment with the exam's objectives.

Report Viewer: 
Role: Creates and generates reports related to the RPT & IBT Exam. 
Responsibilities: Compiles exam-related data and generates reports for analysis, decision-making, and compliance purposes.

Reviewer Level 1*: 
Role: Reviews question papers after they are created and before they are used in the exam.
Responsibilities: Ensures that the initial set of questions meets quality standards and aligns with the exam objectives.

Reviewer Level 2*: 
Role: Reviews question papers after they have been reviewed by Reviewer Level 1. 
Responsibilities: Performs a secondary review to ensure that the questions are fair, valid, and free of biases.
Note:
  1. While assigning Reviewer Level roles you cannot add any other role at same time.
  2. Reviewer Level 1 & Reviewer Level 2 should be assigned to different users not with the same user.

Super Proctor: 
Role: Supervises the proctors during an RPT Exam. 
Responsibilities: Monitor and coordinate with the proctors, broadcast information to the candidates during the exam.
