I see a message saying “The process is taking longer than expected. If the issue persists after two attempts, please contact helpdesk.” What should I do?

 If you see this message or your device isn’t compatible with the AI System Check, please follow these steps:

Option 1: Enable Hardware Acceleration

  • Close the exam and open Google Chrome.

  • Go to Settings → System.

  • Enable “Use hardware acceleration when available” (button turns blue).

  • Click Relaunch to restart Chrome.

    • Alternatively, open chrome://settings/system in Chrome, enable “Use hardware acceleration when available”, and click Relaunch.

  • After Chrome restarts, log back into the exam portal and start your exam.

Option 2: Override Software Rendering (if the issue persists)

  • Open chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist in Chrome.

  • Enable “Override software rendering list” (highlighted in yellow).

  • Click Relaunch to restart Chrome.

  • Log back into the exam portal and begin your exam.

These steps should resolve compatibility issues and allow you to access the exam successfully.
